Our Tri colour is our pride ? or a formality ?

Someone has rightly said “Yeh Azzadi aaise nahin mili ..badi kimat chukani padi thi Eis azzadi ke lie “.. But after 64 years do we really understand what our ancestors did for this nation?? Are we really paying an iota of that towards this nation? Do our Netas, who all keep a Gandhi’s pictures in their offices, even know what Gandiasm truly stands for? No, the matter of fact is they are not concerned with the picture which is hanging on the wall, but are more interested in the picture which is printed on the currency. Does the pride for the nation and pride for the tri color exit for them?

India after 64 years is not the one our martyrs must have dreamt of. Yes, we rank 87th out of 178 countries measured in the Transparency International Corruption Index. Corruption has prevailed and deeply rooted in each and every part of the society. From the time I was born, I have been listening to the same thing ‘No one can change the system’, but when 76 years Old Anna raised his voice and sat on fast till death, it was realized that this is a democracy and voices of the people can be listened here. It is the power of democracy. But all went wrong. First Baba Ramdev incident, then Govt’s version of the Lokpal bill, the parliament was forced to debate on. These are the indication that we are the democracy that does not listen to voices of people.

Sometimes I wonder what Bhagat Singh would be thinking in the heaven after seeing the current situation of the India .He could have enjoyed his life by raising his family. But no, he and his fellow martyrs wanted to see the free India where their future generation can enjoy the taste of Freedom. But today everything is simply a mess. Farmers, who were known to be the backbone of India are committing suicides, their lands are being captured by the state governments. If they revolt, police does not spare a single chance to shoot them dead (Just a fresh case in Maharashtra). Corruption in government offices is at its peak, rich are getting richer & poor are getting poorer. With each passing day it is getting extremely difficult to fill this gap.

Democratic India is still facing the caste issue .Politics is still being driven by the caste & religion. This makes India at the same level as it was 200 years ago. Divide & rule politics is still prevailing in this country. The sole question still remains the same, where is the freedom? We are boasting that we are the biggest growing economy in the world, but still around 42% of the total population falls below the International poverty line of US $ 1.25 day, We are ranked 2nd in the world for the most number of children suffering from Malnutrition. India is the birth of Ayurveda, but still the medical system is not at par as it ought to be. These all are due to corruption. People’s money is not being spent on the welfare of people.

Anna has rightly said that this is the 2nd freedom fight and people have also given him immense response, no doubt on that. There is no question on people integrity in this country. The way they are raising the voices and are ready for the anarchism, I would say Bhaghat Singh still exists in the hearts of people. Our Netas have to understand that if people can make them sit on their heads, the same people can show them the path to the road. We have various examples in history for the same.

PS: It still remains to see how Anna’s movement will shape up, but the message is clear that enough is enough. As Arvind Kejriwal said this is the last chance to achieve something. So lets support Anna for this cause so that we can at least give a bright nation to our next generation, the nation as our martyrs have dreamt of.I wish all of  you Happy Independence day.Jai Hind Jai Bharat

One more attack ,how many more ?

Mumbai The Alpha world city attacked again. This time occasion was Kasab’s birthday.Kasab you cost for another 21 lives.
Since 1993 Mumbai has seen around 9 blasts & around 730 (as per the reports) lives have been lost & many thousands have been wounded.

But again this raises the question on the Governance. Are our leader so serious  to erode the terrorism from the country .Same round committees, discussion will be held tomorrow .Same compensation to the affected families, same investigations same blah blah .Ministers blame Pakistani terror groups. Probably Rahul Gandhi will come and stay in victims home to get the political leverage .Opposition will blame government for security. May be another Director will cast a movie on the same .In few days everything will be forgotten  & same story will be repeated .Only common man suffers. What is the value of common man’s life in this country .2nd largest growing economy in the world still not able to provide the security to their citizens .I understand we do have lot of this & that problems but are those problem are above of common man’s life.
Don't know when our Govt will wake up from the long lasting sleep & when will realize that common man’s life is all above of any kind of Vote bank politics. Due to this vote bank politics the killer of 172 lives Kasab is still being treated as VVIP in Tihar & also Govt is petitioning a Mercy for Afzal Guru who is convicted and sentenced to death for his role in the Parliament House attack.Lakh of rupees are being wasted on their security but what about common man’s life security?
What we are trying to achieve to proof to rest of the world that we are the state who never invade any country. We are not saying to attack any country but at least take some preventive steps within the state. Make Strong Law against terrorism .All we want Do some brave acts & stop pleading in front of rest of the world .Act as Strong nation ,so that common man can at least think that Government is strong  enough  to protect  its citizens .
This  is again a test of Common man’s patience .All the social networking sites have been flooded by the condemns of this blast. People are coming forward & joining the hands for the needed ones .Spreading the information so that it will reach to the last needed one .
I must admire the common people how they are gathering for any social cause. Be it Fight against corruption or be it Fight against Terrorism .Despite of being any religion, caste they are united & they are capable to fight against Govt .At least this gives some hope that one day our India will shine again  & we would proudly say that  we live in a state where the mind is without fear & where the head held high ..
